This company came to Abrasive Technology with a rough concept for threading a fiberglass product. It was an important new offering for the company, but it had never threaded fiberglass before. The company needed detailed engineering specifications for a wheel custom-designed for fiberglass, based on an effective wheel it already had.

Through our iterative process, Abrasive Technology's engineers and the client team collaborated directly on the design, improving each successive model. One of our associates visited the customer to offer options for increasing the life of the grinding wheel. Prototyping, testing and production were complete within one month.
